EMBROIDERY CLUB - 1st Monday of the month
Time: 2:00 p.m. or 5:00 p.m.
Cost: $20.00 Yearly Fee
Membership entitles you to monthly hands-on workshops and a 10% discount on Viking and Inspira products for the year.
This year we will be working with your embroidery machine AND your computer. We are doing a 3-month series of embroidery club, software club, and compute and sew. Check the class list ahead of time to bring the appropriate supplies. Small class kit fee may apply.
BASIC EMBROIDERY KIT: Embroidery machine (and embroidery unit) and embroidery stick in good working order and with which you are familiar; rotary cutter; applique and regular scissors; pins; embroidery, regular, and bobbin thread; all hoops; stabilizers; Design Sampler book that comes with your machine.
Jan 2 (embroidery) - Make this comfy cozy scarf sparkle, with Glitter thread! The snowflakes are suspended from ribbons, and the embroidery is reversible so the scarf is pretty on both sides. Our Snowflake design is the January 2012 Monthly Design, #412401. It is free for the month of January, 2012 from www.myembroideries.com0. Click on the link, Free Monthly Design, on the HUSQVARNA VIKING® website to download it. When you get to the Checkout, enter the coupon code FreeJan2012 in the box. Click Apply Coupon. We will be embroidering on fleece so bring appropriate thread, needles, and stabilizer.
SUPPLIES: Basic embroidery kit (see above) and Clear 'n Melt stabilizer. Your choice of colored thread (glitter thread is great) to make the snowflakes. The snowflake design downloaded to your machine or stick.
Feb 6 (software) - Bring your computer (no embroidery machine required) and embroidery stick. We will be installing 5D Organizer (if not already on your computer). We will learn how to work with organizer and true type fonts, how to make your own fonts, and how to transfer fonts to your embroidery stick.
Mar 5 (compute and sew) - Basic Embroidery Kit. Project to be announced.
DIAMOND CLUB - 1st Saturday of the month
Time: 9:30 a.m.
Cost: no fee
Learn all the great features of your Designer Diamond. We will make a project each month that teaches you a specific Diamond feature. A small kit fee may apply.
Unless otherwise noted, please bring your embroidery unit with all your hoops and embroidery supplies (including stabilizer).

This year we will be learning different techniques with accessory feet. Each month's project will be a square in a quilt that we will assemble in December. Check each month for the list of supplies. Fabric requirements are listed below.

BOM Members receive a 10% discount on Thimbleberries fabric for the entire year.
